First night reflection

This morning we arrived at Temple Israel at the crazy hour of 4:00 am.   We took the bus to Laguardia, and even though we were all tired, we were excited for our flights ahead of us!!! After the short flight we arrived at our layover at the Atlanta airport. A wave of slight tiredness hit but we found some great restaurants that amped us up for the final push for Texas! On the bus to the hotel we got to see a little bit of Texas for the first time. It was a lot greener than we expected and tropical/humid. Our hotel is right downtown by the Capitol building! Tonight there was a reflection for the trip led by President Ben and Rachel and we had a great time with the activities and also were introduced to the idea of journaling. We are all going to get some sleep so we are ready for our first full day here in Austin tomorrow!
